The SA YMCA International Desk is involved with exchanging Volunteers / Interns from Sweden, Norway and the United States.

Programmes with the New York City YMCA

• Exchanging Volunteers / Interns who have completed a three year degree will be considered. The person will pay for his own flight ticket and visa. The association at which you will stay will support accommodation including meals and a stipend. This would be a three-month programme.
• ICCP international camp counsellors programmes. Qualified young people to the United States with similar benefits.
• YMCA Staff Exchange - qualified staff from all YMCA's will be considered.
• Study tours from New York YMCA in the United States to South Africa consisting of staff and board members including business people with YMCA connections.

Sweden

• An annual three months internship  for a qualified person from SA YMCA to go to Sweden.
