Helena Nystrom, Programme Secretary of the Swedish YMCA/YWCA, visited South Africa recently to discuss details of the latest programme partnership between Sweden and South Africa Y's. There are 3 major components to the programme namely; 1.) Recruitment of Programme Development Director 2.) Support of Charter process 3.) Development of Subject 2 Citizen programme within signature programmes. Helena was helpful in developing a deeper understanding of the S2C programme. Another outcome of the visit was a shared understanding of expected outputs and reporting requirements within the partnership.
